About Dr. Hallenbeck
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Richard Hallenbeck proudly serves the diverse families of Elmhurst, New York, providing compassionate and comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents. With more than 10 years of experience in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Dr. Hallenbeck brings extensive clinical experience in managing a wide range of pediatric health concerns.
His areas of care include preventive medicine, well-child visits, immunizations, acute illnesses, chronic conditions such as asthma and obesity, developmental and behavioral concerns, and school and sports physicals.
Dr. Hallenbeck earned his medical degree from Universidad Católica de Santa María in Arequipa, Peru, and completed his residency training in Pediatrics at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
Dr. Hallenbeck believes in working closely with parents and caregivers, providing clear guidance and helping families make informed decisions about their children’s health, growth, and development.

Dr. Pablo Strauch is a pediatrician who provides compassionate and comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents as part of Dr. Richard Hallenbeck’s pediatric practice.
With more than five years of experience in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Dr. Strauch has extensive experience evaluating and treating a wide range of pediatric illnesses and health concerns.
Dr. Strauch earned his medical degree from Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in La Paz, Bolivia. He is committed to providing attentive, family-centered care and working closely with parents and caregivers to support each child’s health and development.
